This week’s top MYGA rates

A MYGA is the annuity version of a CD — you lock a guaranteed interest rate for a set number of years, and the growth is tax-deferred until you take it out. Below are the leading rates by guarantee term, refreshed through the day. Our own rate sheet — the carriers we can actually place with you — is rebuilt every Thursday.

Rate table by MyAnnuityStore.com — independent data, not a Grow-Shine quote. Rates shown are the carriers’ current offers and change without notice.

Before you chase the top rate

Three things the rate alone won’t tell you

🔒

Your money is committed

Take money out before the guarantee period ends and you usually pay a surrender charge, and possibly a market value adjustment. The highest rate often has the longest lock.

🏢

The carrier matters

A MYGA is only as good as the company behind it. Financial-strength ratings and how long the carrier has been writing annuities matter as much as a tenth of a percent.

🧾

Taxes are deferred, not erased

Growth compounds untaxed inside the contract, but withdrawals are taxed as ordinary income, and before age 59½ there may be a 10% federal penalty on the gain.

Not sure a MYGA is the right bucket?

For a lot of families the real question isn’t which rate — it’s how much belongs in a guaranteed bucket at all. That’s a 15-minute conversation.

Important. The rate table above is supplied by MyAnnuityStore.com from the AnnuityRateWatch database and is shown for general education. It is not an offer, a solicitation, or a recommendation, and it is not a Grow-Shine quote. Rates, products and carriers change without notice and are not available in every state; the rate you are actually offered depends on your state of residence, your premium amount, the guarantee period and the carrier’s current filing. Multi-year guaranteed annuities are insurance contracts, not bank products: they are not FDIC insured, not bank guaranteed, and guarantees are backed solely by the claims-paying ability of the issuing insurance company. Surrender charges and a market value adjustment may apply to early withdrawals, and withdrawals of gain are taxed as ordinary income with a possible 10% federal penalty before age 59½. Grow-Shine Financial Group LLC is an independent insurance agency; we are not affiliated with MyAnnuityStore.com or AnnuityRateWatch. Before buying any annuity, review the carrier’s own disclosure documents and contract.
